Certified interpretation is a type of consecutive interpretation. In other words, the interpreter starts interpreting after the speaker has finished uttering the entire message.
When is certified interpretation needed?
Certified interpretation is needed during legal proceedings with the participation of foreigners, e.g. in courts, at a notary's office, when a foreign entity establishes a company in Poland, or during civil marriage ceremonies between Polish citizens and foreigners.
